We know that planning a wedding is like a race against time, however brides should not rush in to buying the first dress you see in a bridal store. Why not read our 4 tips to find yourself that dream dress for your special day.
1. Do not be ashamed to visit a discounted wedding dress shop as this can be your gold mine for finding a unique dress for less. Just because you are not wearing a designer label, does not mean your dress will be any less elegant or special.
2. Always take bridal accessories with you that you plan to wear on the day of your wedding. It is a good idea to see how your dress looks with jewellery, bags, shoes and other items.
3. Alright, enough is enough. You just cant bear the thought that your wedding dress is not a designer dress and to top it off, you are on a limited budget. Why not take a few photos of the dress you really like and bring them to a skilled seamstress to create a replica.
4. I know this is obvious but always try on your wedding dress before parting with your hard earned cash. No designer uses the same size chart. What tends to happen in some stores is that you feel rushed in to trying your dress on compared to other stores where you tend to have more time, so remember to take all the time you need so that your husband to be does not say “I Don’t” on the day
