Walcot Hall
Walcot Hall is a privately owned Georgian
property, once residence to Lord Clive of India. As a family home it offers a wealth of character and personality and provides individuality to the 30 weddings it chooses to accept each year. It has a splendid setting within this country estate, overlooking a mile-long lake and the Shropshire Hills at the front of the Hall and extensive gardens and a 26-acre arboretum to the rear.
Should you choose to host your wedding at Walcot Hall you can be assured of a day that is not packaged in any way. To begin with you are offered the luxury of time; this venue can be hired for a 48 hour period - allowing you the day before the wedding to see all your planning come to fruition and complete the fine tuning of arrangements and decorations.
Secondly you have exclusive use of the venue for your wedding with the option of inviting up to 65 guests to stay for the weekend within the self-catering accommodation on the estate.
And thirdly, no unnecessary rules and regulations are imposed. If your request are reasonable, where possible we will always try to make sure they happen. For example: Can I provide my own drinks at no extra charge? Can I have any caterer I choose? Can the party go on into the early hours? Can I have a carousel in the garden? Can I arrive by helicopter? ˆ the answer to all these questions is yes.

We can accommodate up to 200 guests, more if a marquee is used, but the perfect size for a ŒWalcot Wedding‚ is around 135 guests.
